Virginia Beach Meteor ... Or Just Your Casual UFO?

Virginia Beach and North Carolina may have experienced a meteor explosion on Sunday night. Or perhaps Agents Sculley and Mulder were just in the neighborhood -- because despite residents' claims to the police and weather services that something bright exploded in the sky Sunday, the National Weather Service says they have no record of anything meteorlogical.

One motorist who saw the lights while driving east of the Staples Mill Road exit of Interstate 64 described it as similar to “what falls away from big fireworks” but “much bigger” and “from much higher up."
In other words: "Aliens, obviously." But that motorist wasn't the only one:
“It was very, very bright and lasted less than a second,“ said Richmond resident Jay McNamara, who was returning home with his wife on River Road when they saw an object in the southeastern sky. “It was smaller than the moon and a white or yellow color."
"And round, like a flying saucer," McNamara continued. Okay, not really. However, I think there's a pretty good chance that this is going to get run as a UFO sighting, just because, again, the National Weather Service recorded no meteroic activity despite the flurry of e-mails that hit a local news station's inbox.

The point of it all? If you're scared of aliens, avoid the beaches of North Carolina and Virginia in your travels for at least the next few weeks, until things clear up.

Your joking, right?! Seriously though, I actually live in Virginia Beach and almost every person I've asked today said that they had witnessed the same thing that I witnessed last night: A Goddamn meteor exploding high in the atmosphere. When was the last time that report of no meteor activity updated? (Because 'UFO explosion' is not the common theory I'm hearing from people here in Virginia Beach)

Yes there was definitely something in the Va beach skies that night and well before the reports of the glow and the boom, one hour to be approx., I myself have pics and video footage of SOMETHING that no one seems to be able to explain flying all over and above the Armada Hoffler building.....Wavy 10actually  broadcast one of the photos of the traveling light but not all 5 of the picture in sequence to show that this was not space junk nor a meteorite this something was flying around and was obviously not a jet nor a plane or bird u get the pic...Is it some kind of mass hysteria their afraid of? Because I am sure those very large building in downtown Va Beach are equiped with cameras. I am, well was the biggest skeptic of them all but now I have no choice but to ask "What the hell was that in our skies" even though I know that THEY will never tell what the deal is so hey I guess u have to be a skeptic until u see it for yourself like I did and have very clear photos to prove it!!!! So glad I decided to take my camera that evening.....  Finally a little action around here!!
