Philadelphia Southwest Fare Special -- Wanna Get Away Sale with Southwest

Fans of Southwest Airlines already know what a great deal it is. Now there's even more of a reason to love the multi-colored and recognizable airliner.

Starting today, Southwest is running a four-day Mystery City Sale, where they'll discount airfares up to 50% off for one city, each day. Today's city's Philly, with fares half-off for people flying to and from the City of Brotherly Love between May 1 through June 10.

We'll keep you posted about what other cities Southwest plans to unveil as they are announced. In the meantime, get booking!

Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard in L.A. offering a "Doggy & Me" package that includes accommodations in a Junior Executive Suite on the Spa Level, in-room massage for guest and their four-legged loved one, dog treats specially created by OnSunset restaurant’s Executive Chef and more for $575 a night.

FareFinder Extra: JetBlue one-day sale is crazy good

JetBlue is always trying to stay ahead of the curve. Whether it's additional legroom, free Dunkin' Donuts coffee or the ability to check out ESPN on the TV at your seat, they're always looking to one-up the competition.

Now, for one day, they're doing it on price. And you better hurry, because that one day is to-day. Flights for March 10-April 1 (flying out Tuesdays or Wednesdays) are going for $29-$99 each way.

We love celebrities almost as much as we love travel deals. Just imagine our joy when found a combination of the two:

Concert at Sea: Carnival Cruise Lines's March 27 sojourn to Cabo is gonna be rocking. Literally. John Mayer (okay, "rock" is a stretch), as well as a host of other musicians will perform on board the Carnival Splendor when it docks in Cabo. No word on whether Jennifer Aniston will make an appearance. Cabins available through January 31.

Canadian wilderness tour: The luxury tour group Horizon & Co. is offering discounted rates and free airfare for booking its 8-day Great River Journey by January 15. The only catch is that you must take the tour in June.

Jet-set with JetBlue: Weekly airfare deals for the unencumbered (i.e. Can get away from the kids, job, wife, etc.) are all over the place. JetBlue's weekly specials include flights between Long Beach and Vegas for $39 each way, West Palm and Newark Liberty for $84 each way and JFK and Phoenix for $129 each way. Book by January 14.

Aruba resort deal: A PTG Editor's Pick, the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa is offering the Larimar Spa Package, which includes accommodations for two guests for four, five or seven nights and choice of spa treatments or rounds of golf based on number of nights. Rates starting at $2,375 and available through April 18.

After a holiday hiatus, we're back to offer the best travel deals that come across the PTG desk each day. So, off we go:

Free Meals at Caribbean Resort: Guests who book four nights or more in one of Amanyara's Pavilions or Villas between January 4 and October 31, 2009 (excluding Presidents' Week, February 12-16, and Easter, April 3-17) will enjoy complimentary meals throughout their stay.

"Balcony Bonanza": Princess Cruises is offering couples free upgrades and $1,200 in savings on hundreds of cruises through 2009. Must be booked by the end of February.

More cruise deals: Travel to Europe on Oceania Cruises and you'll be rewarded with a $2,000 price reduction off two-for-one cruise fares, plus free airfare per stateroom on 18 of the company's 2009 European Collection sailings.

Continental.com weekly specials: A FareFinder favorite, the big last minute specials this week include roundtrips from Newark Liberty to Bermuda and Houston to Monterrey, Mexico for under $200. Book by Friday.

Delta.com Web fares: Delta is also offering some good deals online, including one-ways starting at $69 on routes such as LaGuardia to Orlando or Tampa, Salt Lake City to Las Vegas and Washington-Reagan to Reno. Book by Saturday.

FareFinder: Key West Coupon Craze

We're all about the specials and deals here at FareFinder. So imagine my delight when this email from Key West, Florida landed in the Farefinder inbox:

The Florida Keys & Key West tourism council has launched a program designed to enhance visitors' vacations through a wide variety of value-added offers from Keys lodging entities, restaurants, attractions, watersports operators, dive excursions, charter fishing boats and other businesses.

"No doubt, many travel consumers are seeking vacation experiences that maximize their dollar during these unsettled times," said Keys tourism council director Harold Wheeler. "Our 'ValuCation' program makes vacationers aware of Keys incentives during traditionally peak travel periods."

Coupons range from nice ($2 off admission to numerous local attractions, BOGO -- "Buy One, Get One" -- at restaurants and bars) to sweet (discounted room rates at the four-star Sheraton Suites Key West, for one) to cool (one night free accommodations for each day you book a fishing charter). It's not a tremendous boon to the wallet, but at the same time, every dollar counts.

FareFinder: Continental.com discounts make Weekend Warriors happy

Continental.com offers special eDeals on its Web site for weekend travelers, and depending on your preferred destination, there are some good airfares to be had directly from the airline.

Continental offers Saturday through Monday/Tuesday tickets on the cheap roundtrips for selected cities each week, mostly traveling out of the their main hub in Newark, which also serves the New York City region and Houston, with a majority of these fares falling in the $119 to $179 range.

This week's specials include:

Newark, NJ to Montreal for $128
Houston to New Orleans for $119
Newark, NJ to Greensboro for $119

Canadian Courts Respect the Rights of, um, Heavier Folks

Canadian courts instituted a ruling last week that could have long ranging effects on the world of travel. Specifically, they decided that people of a heavier nature who decided to travel on airplanes were worthy of two seats ... for the price of one.

Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday.

The high court declined to hear an appeal by Canadian airlines of a decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that people who are "functionally disabled by obesity" deserve to have two seats for one fare.

My initial reaction to this was "Poppycock!" Because, frankly, it's a fun word to say. Well, that and I don't like obesity being declared a disability when it's something that's relatively controllable. Also, I don't like it when people get free stuff and I'm not included, especially when I would always love to have two seats on an airplane.

But then I thought back to the last time I sat next to a heavy person on an airplane -- I was window, she was in the middle, and let's just say that I wasn't really ever able to get comfortable while flying. Had the young lady next to me been given an additional seat, per Canadian law, we would have avoided by iPod being squished, all of the awkward glares, me smelling Cheetos at 2 in the morning and I would have actually gotten some sleep.

So, hurray Canada. And your chubby laws.
